  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 500 milliliters heavy whipping cream

    Directions

    1. Separate the eggs. Beat the yolks with ¾ cup of sugar until they become creamy and nearly white, approximately 4 minutes. Add 1/3 cup of milk and the vanilla, beat for one more minute.
    2. Add the flour, baking powder and salt little by little while continuing to beat the mixture. Beat well, approximately 2 minutes.
    3. In a separate bowl, beat the whites until they become lighter in color, approximately 3 minutes. Next, add the rest of the cup of sugar and beat for 3 minutes more, until peaks are formed.
