- 3 Tbsp. shortening (palm, or substitute unsalted butter)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla (or substitute espresso)
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1.5 oz. cocoa butter (by weight)
- 2 Tbsp. evaporated cane juice (for whiter chocolate use white sugar)
- 1 tsp. arrowroot powder
