The answer to these should always be “yes.” Turned out perfectly - didn’t have Ghirardelli (may or may not have eaten it up earlier in the day), but we used semi-sweet chocolate chips and melted them down over a double boiler. These snacks got me in on the good side of my stepsons. We had a hard time not eating them up before they were frozen (which did not take long at all). The Man tried a second batch with more of a liquid chocolate recipe (adding butter, milk, sugar to the chocolate) so that we were more easily able to dip the leaves. While this did make the chocolate more dippable, the leaves took a lot longer to freeze and the chocolate was a lot goopier. Go by the recipe instead.
