- 1 1/2 cups cashews (soaked for at least an 1 hour, drained)
- 1 orange bell pepper (roughly chopped)
- 1 cup milk (unsweetened dairy-free, I used almond)
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. taco seasoning (I make this recipe and store it in a airtight jar)
- 1 oz. cans black beans (rinsed an drained)
- 12 oz. salsa (fresh, I used the fresh homestyle salsa container from Trader Joe's)
- sliced green onions (optional)
- cilantro (optional)

Yeah, that’s bomb!!!! I had red pepper flakes and creole seasoning and this is off the chain, insane! I can’t wait to make it for my friends!!! It makes a lot tho’ so if you’re not serving 9 or 10 people, I would cut it down!

I would give this recipe more than 5 stars if I could. I've never been so happy to be lactose intolerant. I can't possibly give this dish as much praise as it deserves. We served it with tortilla chips, fresh cut carrots & celery. This vegan cheese dip is irresistibly delicious, pleasingly filling & easy to make. Check the ingredient amounts on the site since it is listed wrong on Yummly. This is definitely going to become one of our favorites, it's a must try for everyone! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

The conversion to Yummly messed up the ingredients - it's not 2 oz black beans - it's 2 - 14-ounce cans of black beans. Have to go to the original site to see it correctly. This could have so many uses - see it on top of a tostada.
