This is an excellent base recipe to customize to your tastes. I appreciated the recommendation to add spices / herbs for enhanced flavour

This recipe was modified to make it 0 points, but my Dad’s original recipe, he makes a rue. He heats butter in the pan and adds flour. Browns it for a few minutes which thickens the soup. But it also adds points. This is a comment from Gina, think I'll try this addition. I always grate a little old cheddar cheese onto cauliflower soup!!

I just made one of the top ten best soups I’ve ever tasted by editing this recipe. I kept it at 4 cups of water and added basil, rosemary, and a little bit of the following spices: cumin, sweet paprika, cayenne pepper, and ginger, plus some salt and a lot of pepper. The original recipe is super bland, but my edited version was great.

I love the idea of this soup but I would need to tweak this recipe. I would do 2 heads of cauliflower to thicken up the soup and 1 bouillon cube instead of 2.

First time I made it I didn't think it had much flavor so I added mushrooms the second time and cooked them in the pot first with butter. I also added a touch of nutmeg. With the see slight changes the soup was terrific.

Ok I thought it was bland so I had a little olive oil and parsley before cooking. But very delicious! Very easy to make!
