    Great...I used half Cabot butter and half crisco, rolled to 1/4 inch, and had to bake 10 minutes.

    Cookies are very soft, yes, but the dough was very dry. Initially, I couldn’t get the dough to ball together, and had to add water to get it to do so. Was not terribly impressed, but I’m also not good at making cutout cookies. Updated: Just finished making these for the sixth time (over the course of ten months). After enough attempts, I believe I finally have the hang of these. This recipe makes delicious cookies!

    Wonderful, and I used Sugar in the Raw instead of white sugar, so when they were decorated, the sugar taste balanced out.

    Cookies turned out great!! Very tasty and soft! EASY RECIPE!! I cooked them longer for my Big Santa cookies but recipe is spot on ❤️

    Cookies turned out perfectly. They’re not too sweet so they will pair well with the royal icing. Waiting to ice them tomorrow when I have more time. I made only one batch today but this recipe is so easy I’ll definitely make more!

    They were delicious! I had to increase the cook time to 10 minutes for them to be at my preferred doneness, but they were amazing!

    The cookies were great! They got a little bit dry at the end, and I doubled the recipe, but overall great results, it was very time consuming though, it took around an hour and a half.
