- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 2 tsp. turmeric
- 2 tsp. cumin
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 3 garlic cloves (peeled and grated)
- 1 piece fresh ginger (peeled and grated)
- 1 small shallot (peeled and cut into thin slices)
- 1 jalapeno pepper (seeded and chopped, leave seeds in for more heat)
- 1 lb. ground turkey (ButcherBox, Substitution: Ground chicken can also be used in this recipe.)
- 1/2 cup canned diced tomatoes
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves (picked off their stems)
