Ingredients

- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 onions (medium sized, chopped, about 1 1/2 cup)
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 2 tsp. curry powder
- 1 Tbsp. ground coriander
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 cup peeled tomatoes (canned)
- 1 1/2 cups green peas

Directions
- Melt the butter in a skillet and add the onions. Cook, stirring, until onions wilt. Add the meat, salt, pepper, curry powder, coriander, and pepper flakes. Break up the meat with the edge of a long-handled kitchen spoon. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the tomatoes. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes more.
- Add the peas, cover again, and simmer until peas are tender, 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with rice.
