  • 1 pound tomato (Grape, Cherry, Compari)
  • 1/4 purple onion
  • 1/2 lime (worth of juice)
  • salt
  • 1/4 serrano pepper (with seeds)
  • cucumbers (for dipping)
  • poblano pepper

    Directions

    1. Slice cap off tomato if vine attached and squeeze out as many seeds and pulp as possible without damaging the tomato. For chunky salsa dice tomato and onion, for thin salsa use a food processor..
    2. You can spoon the salsa onto cucumber slices if presenting, dip the slices into bowl of salsa if eating casually.

    Like the use of cucumber slices as a dipping "chip".Plus it's easier to digest and not oily and fried. More flavor blending into the salsa.
