This had great flavor. I can’t eat beans, so I excluded those and used half chicken broth for the liquid.

I tripled the recipe and made it in a tall stock pot. The liquid was so thick that the bottom burned while the rice on top was still hard. Had to throw it out.

Turned out Great!
I didn’t cook it all the 45 minutes because it would’ve burned. I also sautéd the rice and herb mix until my rice was white. I make Mexican red rice and that’s how you get un mushy rice. Used some hot Spanish paprika for a little kick. My hunny and kids loved it! Btw this recipe can feed like 6 grown men!
