  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion (diced)
  • 1/2 green pepper (large, diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 pound ground beef (I use lean)
  • 1/2 teaspoon adobo seasoning (if you don't have this...go out and get some asap!! It's the best)
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup pimento stuffed olives (plus 1 tbsp of the brine from the jar, I just slice my olives in half but you can leave them hole or dice them finely)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
