- 1 1/2 cups lentils (red split)
- 1/2 cup brown rice
- 2 1/2 tsp. curry powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 7 cups vegetable broth (divided)
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 slices gluten-free bread (Udi's Whole Grain, crumbled)
- 1/4 cup whole milk (organic)
- 1 lb. ground lamb (grassfed)
- 1 cup toasted almonds (slivered and, chopped)
- 1 yellow onion (smallish, about ⅓ cup)
- 1/3 cup golden raisins (chopped)
- 1 beaten egg
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 Tbsp. freshly chopped parsley
- 1 Tbsp. chopped cilantro (fresh)
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 cup plain yogurt (organic)
- 1 Tbsp. mint (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp. lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp. honey (optional since I gave up sugar)
