  • 12 ounces slaw (I used a basic cabbage and carrot slaw)
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup edamame (cooked, I steamed frozen, shelled edamame in a couple of inches of water and then rinsed them in cold water; set aside to cool)
  • 1 bell pepper (I used red, diced)
  • 4 green onions (finely chopped)
  • 1/3 cup cilantro (finely chopped)
  • 15 ounces orange slices (mandarin, rinsed and drained)
  • 15 ounces bean sprouts (rinsed and drained)
  • 8 ounces water chestnuts (diced)
  • 6 ounces ramen noodles (broken up in to tiny pieces; discard the spice packs)
  • 2 ears sweet corn (fresh, sliced off of the cob)
  • 1/3 cup unsalted almonds (sliced)
  • 3/4 pound chicken tenders (optional)

  • olive oil (optional)
  • 1/2 cup grapeseed oil (or other relatively flavorless oil)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
