- 3 russet potatoes (washed, peeled and chopped into bite-sized pieces.)
- 5 cups kale (chopped or torn into bite-size pieces and tough stems removed.)
- 1 Vidalia onion (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (you can use 1/2 tsp if you like it very spicy or omit the cayenne if you do not like it spicy.)
- 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp. italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. seasoning salt

This was way better than olive gardens version. I used spicy ground Italian sausage and a little more seasoning than the recipe called for. Perfect for a cold, rainy day.
