- 4 cloves garlic (slivered)
- 2 onions (small to med, peeled and sliced)
- 2 bay leaves (dried)
- 1 whole clove
- 1 Tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hot water
- salt
- pepper
- smoked paprika (optional)
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch (to thicken gravy)
