I wouldn’t make this recipe again, there was a sweet taste to it, not sure from what. There also wasn’t a lot of flavor, a tad bland. Easy to make if you’re looking for something quick and easy, just add seasoning.

Good, but let me clear the air. The Yummly app often makes this error. It said 55 min to make. Directions are more like 4 hours. So had to make it another night. Get it together, Yummly.

This was very good. I placed the soups in the crockpot and mixed them with a whisk so that they were combined well first. I then added my chicken. I did not have chicken breast, but boneless skinless thighs. They worked great!
We like lots of flavors and spices. I added Penzy’s Sunny Paris. I also added a little of a porchetta seasoning.
I read about the biscuits taking a long time to cook.
I par-baked my biscuits for 9 minutes. Then I cut them into 6-8 “pie-shaped” pieces. I added them to the crockpot and cooked everything for 30 minutes. They were perfect!
I will definitely make this again!

The chicken and dumplings turned out quite nicely. It beats standing in front of the stove, and it is just as good.

Just made this and it turned out great! My husband loved it and so did I, I’ll make this again. Just note, I did add the bacon and I’m glad I did because the flavor was delicious. Also, I did not put the biscuits on top, I cut each biscuit into 9 pieces and mixed them in. I think this helped make sure the biscuits were cooked all the way through!

Really tasty and few ingredients. If you wanted a super healthy recipe, this is prob not for you ;)
Otherwise- delish and super easy.

This dish was great!!..I did substitute mushrooms for peas it was a good choice. Was worried about the bacon I actually did some research to see if anyone actually did that before. Decided to make my own choice and use it, excellent! The bacon actually brought the dish together to give it that gravy type taste instead of soupy. My family loved it and so did I!

I baked the biscuits in the oven first because the reviews said they didn’t bake
But I used frozen mixed veggies
Seasoned my chicken first
Didn’t add any celery
But I did add 1/4 of a box of spaghetti noodles broken in half and added that to the soup
It came out great
The cream of chicken took the whole 3 hours to blend in I think once I shredded the chicken and added veggies it mixed nicely

The dumplings definitely take more than 1 hour to finish, and I also added seasonings to the chicken before adding it to the crockpot, but this recipe is good as a base

I did 1 can golden mushroom soup and 1 can cream of chicken instead. I also used frozen carrot rounds instead. I also use boxed chicken stock, about 15 oz instead of a can of chicken broth. My family and I liked this. However, this is not what I crave when I want chicken and dumplings. I either want Northern dumplings (which are similar to the biscuit idea but it's a different texture, which I prefer) or Southern dumplings (more like noodles in a thick gravy). This was good for what it was, but it doesn't fit either type of dumplings for me.

I did one cream of chicken & one cream of mushroom instead. Everyone loved it even the kids.

wasnt bad but it was kinda bland. not the best hicken and dumplings ive had. possibly try again but doubtful

It turned out great except just putting the biscuits in as taking way to long to cook so I had to take them out and make them in the oven but aside from that it was great
