it was delicious. The only changes made was to omit the onion and swap the sausage for hamburger. I added a tbsp of cornstarch to thicken.

This recipe was delicious and made quite a lot for 2 people. I will freeze in smaller containers to pack for lunches. I didn’t have all the correct ingredients but I think my substitutions were pretty close. I didn’t have sausage but I used ground pork with Italian seasoning and Fennel seed. My husband didn’t want that much tomato so I did a 14.5 oz of plain diced tomatoes with the extra Italian seasonings and added a the same amount of extra water in the can to cook the ravioli. I didn’t have tortellini and used Aldi raviolis with ricotta and spinach filling instead. I used my Instant Pot on the sauté mode to both brown the meat and boil the ravioli in the broth, tomato, and water base. Once the ravioli were completely cooked I added the cream cheese with the pot off, allowing the heat of the other ingredients to melt it.
Don’t be discouraged by all my changes. This is just an example of how substitutions can be made and still be delicious! I tried to give it 5 stars but my device won’t let me hit the extra star.

Perfect soup for a cold winter day. Made it while my wife was at work, and we both loved it.

I've made this 3 times and my husband loves it. So easy and the cream cheese gives it a rich flavor. I add the tortellini the last hour and it's perfect.

very good! would probably add the tortellini later like suggested but that defeats the purpose of a make ahead crockpot meal!

This was fantastic! The whole family enjoyed! I used rotel instead of diced tomatoes. Delicious

It was delicious! I used hot and mild sausage and also cooked the tortellini separate and let people add it to their soup instead of adding it in.

I made this a few nights ago and it was absolutely delicious! I took a few tips from other reviews and substituted HOT italian sausage and waited until the last hour to add the tortellini. It came out perfect! Everyone had seconds! Even the leftovers were amazing! I will definitely be making this again and again and again!!

The cream cheese added a layer of creaminess not found in other tomato soups delicious and will definitely make again!

This recipe was so delicious and so easy!! My teenage kids loved it, my husband loved it and so did I!!! I used hot sausage which gave it a little extra kick but not too hot! Will definitely make again!!!

I added some salt, pepper, and garlic powder and eliminated the green pepper. I turned the crock pot to high for the last hour (when I added the tortellini), and it came out delicious! My husband's not a soup lover but he really liked it.
