- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 4 cloves crushed garlic
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 8 tomatoes (LARGE, you could use three 14.5 oz cans of diced tomatoes and skip sauteing them, just add directly to crock pot)
- 1/2 lb. italian sausage (you could always use sliced bratwursts instead.)
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup cheese ravioli (dried)
- 2 cubes frozen basil (or 3 tablespoons fresh chopped basil, or 1½ teaspoons dried.)
