I made this but instead of the ginger ale I used a full Shiner Light Blonde beer, you can use whatever beer we are just Shiner fans in my household. I made a 9 pound pork butt and slow cooked it for 14 hours on low, pulled it, added Stubs bbq sauce and continued to cook on low for another 2 hours. We did sweet Hawaiian buns, with pickles, onions, and apple habanero bbq sauce on top. It was amazing!

it turned out amazing! if you take the time and slow cook it is sooooo delicious! i added a cup of water about 10oz because it was looking dry at first but that's just me.
