- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (smashed)
- 28 oz. tomato sauce
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 12 oz. cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 12 oz. lasagna noodles (uncooked)
- 16 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions
- SAUCE: Brown ground beef, onion and garlic in pan. Drain grease.
- Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, sugar and oregano.
- Cook long enough to get it warm. Sauce can be frozen in a freezer bag until ready to use.
