I read the comments about being too tomato tasting. I combined two recipes together. Take out the different tomatoes (crushed and the sauce) and just add diced tomatoes (38oz can). For the added liquid instead of 1 cup of beer add the entire beer. I added more beans (2x 14oz pinto bean cans). Flavor was great. 1/4 cup of chili powder May be a bit much for younger children

This is a wonderful recipe! This is the second time I have made it. The first time I made it my whole family raved about it. I do add 2 more cans of beans, but other that it is perfect. Not too hot, just right! People can add hot sauce if they want it hotter!

Great flavor. It was a bit too tomato tasting, next time ill leave the juice from some of the beans. Find a recipe for spicy crackers, they are wonderful with this chili.

I adapted this to the instant pot and thoroughly enjoyed it! Be warned, this definitely serves more than four so be prepared for lots of leftovers! Pair it with cornbread for ultimate enjoyment.

This is the second time I made this chili and we love it. Preparing chili in the crockpot all day brings out all it the flavors, and for me has the right amount of spices. And it is so easy to prepare. Delicious!

I made this Chili and it was delicious. I would definitely make it with beer. I did, and it came out extremely flavorful! Then I always top the chili with shredded cheese and sour cream. Yum!

It was really tasty - I would recommend at least adding one more can of beans because it was a little more soupy than I would have liked. Overall, very good!

I used deer meat and a little bit of beef sausage to cut out the deer taste. It’s great over Fritos topped with cheese.

Great tasting chili. Nice flavour. I would add more pepper to get me an enhanced flavour but that's just me. Looking to do again very soon

It turned out great. This was my first time making chili and it was easy and I enjoyed making it. My girlfriend and her mom loved it.

Great recipe. Good heat, good balance. Very flavorful. I drain my cans of beans to let it get thicker. It turned out a little thin when I didn’t.
