The texture was close but probably would have been better with corn starch instead of flour the chicken breast were dangerously close to being over cooked. Three hours is probably just too long for breasts, even on low. Thighs probably could handle the long cooking time but the breasts bordered on overcooked and I only cooked for 1.5 hours. The sauce was good and a nice texture but did not taste AT ALL like cashew chicken you can get from takeout. All in all, we probably won’t make this one again.

it smelled like cashew chicken but didn't taste like cashew chicken. my family gave it a big thumbs down.

Easy, delicious and flavorful. The only thing that threw me for a loop was the 3-4 hour timeline. But if you’re home (and don’t leave it all day), it’s great!

Be sure you double the recipe for the sauce portion if you want some for rice otherwise it’s quite tasty!

I really liked this! I made twice the amount of sauce mixture used no ginger and cooked and then added quinoa before serving! it was awesome!

This was good, however after reading other reviews I added a cup of water which was just right, very little preparation.

This was great! My wife isn't a fan of chicken breast so I used thighs instead. Great taste and super easy.

This went over well in our house. It's great for a weekday dinner when you need something simple and easy. Will definitely be making it again!
