  • 8 ounces mushrooms (whole, cut into quarters or sixths if large)
  • 2 carrots (chopped)
  • 2 celery (ribs, chopped)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon gluten free worcestershire sauce (I like Lea & Perrins)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 32 ounces gluten free beef broth
  • 1/4 cup gluten (free or all-purpose flour, dish will not be GF if using all-purpose flour)

    This stew turned out great! Beef was tender and delicious at just 3.5 hrs on high in the crock pot. I definitely had to add a bit more of the seasonings to get it flavourful but overall was a super simple yet effective meal!

    We really enjoyed this meal! Great to come home to delicious smells! Did not add the peas (apparently ate them earlier-or my husband HID them), and put some chives on top for color.

    Tasted delicious... even better the second day! The potatoes and carrots did take far longer than the meat to cook though next time I will cook the veggies for a few hours before adding the meat

    Really delicious! I chose to use corn instead, also might be easier to cook the potatoes a bit before hand then cook them more in the crock pot. Would for sure make again, though!

    Delicious. I decided to season and brown the meat before adding to pot. I also added a drizzle of EVOO and some white cooking wine. Slow cooked for 6 hrs on low. Great recipe. Love that it's Gluten free in mind.
