- 2 lb. chuck roast (cut into thin strips)
- 1 cup soy (or gourmet sauce)
- 2 cups beef broth (concentrated, I mean by that-double the bouillon needed for 2 cups of broth)
- 2/3 cup brown sugar (to taste)
- 2 Tbsp. hot chili sesame oil
- 1 cup shallots (minced garlic, to taste-I love garlic!)
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 cup sauce (cooled, a bit, from the crock pot after being cooked)
- broccoli florets (Fresh, as many as desired, I used about 3 cups)
- 1 basmati rice (recipe Hot, and quinoa)
