- 42 oz. baked beans (canned, drained of some of the juice, I used two, 2 21 oz. cans of Bush's brand baked beans)
- 20 oz. pineapple chunks (canned, drained)
- 1 lb. thick sliced bacon (cup up and cooked until crispy, fat drained off)
- 14 oz. cocktail sausages (each link cut in half, we used Hillshire Farm brand Lit'l Smokies but you can also use a rope of smoked kielbasa sausage sliced)
- 1 cup red onion (diced)
- 1 cup red bell pepper (diced)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp. ground mustard
- 1 tsp. salt (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
