It’s so easy and it makes my kids happy!!! Truth be told I enjoy it too! I mix things up a day before so the flavors mix. I also use butter to fry with. Just yum for not having meat in it. It’s been a go to for over a year now:

Tasty and easy. Agree with previous reviews suggesting to mix the feta with the mashed beans before cooking. Took off one star because they definitely need salsa or a crema of some sort to serve

First, I'm a little bit put-off by the other reviewers, who didn't use the right beans, taking off stars in reviews admitting the beans were wrong. But whatever, as they say in Rome, "haters gonna hate; potaters gonna potate."
Uh... where was I? Fantastic tacos. I would make the following tweaks:
1. Use avocado oil, it's just so much better for you and tastes great
2. Stir in however much cheese you want to use into the beans right before you put them in the pan. It's easier and less error-prone.
3. I put a little green salsa on these and had to stop myself at 3. Coulda really gone HAM on some more tacos. Great recipe, 5 stars, will absolutely make again, but I will (continue to) use the right beans when I do.

Tasty but not enough veg, needs paprika and other additions.
Made second time with maïs and rode paprika. Much better.

Easy, fast, and cheap to make, however, I made these with cotija cheese and the were bland. Also made with dried beans cooked in an insta pot and they were still too hard and the texture wasn't right—next time I'm definitely using canned, though that adds a bit to the cost. I added esquites and tomatillo salsa and all together they were a delicious combo, but these tacos can't stand alone.

It was good however, I will have to make again using the correct beans. My husband picked up beans in the bag and they didn’t get soft enough but the taste was good. It does seem like it’s missing something can’t pinpoint what.

Very very delicious!!! I loved all of the flavours mixed and would definitely make again even though it can't be made for a sit down dinner as they are eaten as they come off of the pan :). Maybe for a barbecue type of party as a vegetarian option? Or perhaps if it rains! OR making them on a griddle where you could make more at once!!!

it turned out a bit salty for me. For the next time i probably wont add salt to it.

Made it twice and a family hit both times. Flour tortillas worked fine. Added Mexican queso fresco and was great. Cooks faster on a griddle where I could make several at a time.

Turned out really good! I am one of those people who can’t stand cilantro, so I skipped that ingredient and went extra heavy on the lime - sooooo yummy and super easy to prepare. Served them with a mild chunky salsa and some sour cream. Adding this one into the regular dinner rotation!

Delish and really easy to make. Definitely can get more than 8-10 but I didn’t overstuff the shells. Easier to flip if you don’t

I eat meat and this is the best recipe I have found on Yummly. They’re so tasty! 😍

I’ve made these several times, delicious. The tartness of the lime with salty from the feta is spot on. It’s on the menu frequently.

I added more cayenne. Chopped up a mushroom and mixed with the beans used all organic was delicious!

We added sweet corn to the black beans as well as flour tortillas. Everyone loved them!

Soooo good...next time I'll chop up fresh jalapenos and add! Med to med high heat was perfect!

It’s a delicious taco, very different. It was better with fresh salsa and chopped cilantro. Needs a side salad if it’s your dinner entree.

Very good. I served mine with homemade pico de gallo. I think next time some fresh avocado or guacamole will be really good too.
