- 1 navel orange (medium-sized)
- 3 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 jalapeño (de-seeded and thinly sliced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp. freshly grated ginger (or substitute 1/2 tsp. ground ginger)
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 2 scallions (chopped, for garnish, optional)
- 4 cups canola oil (for frying)

Way too sweet and the orange flavour is over the top. I will tweak this and it will be awesome!

This is great! I skipped the freezer step so it didn't get as crispy, but it was still delicious!
