- peppers (** The listed amounts of, will give you a medium spiciness. We use about twice as much of the three peppers because we like it spicy. Dial it back if you want it mild.)

loved it. I made 2 lbs of beans and smoked sausage and kept the same measurements for spices and herbs with one more tablespoon or teaspoon. I also fried the smoked sausage with half of a onion before draining the grease and adding the beans with chicken broth.

I really enjoyed it. It’s a great alternative to all the overly sweet canned baked beans.
