i had to make an "on the fly adjustment" because my crockpot didn't turn on. i boiled the chicken for 10min while reducing the rest in a skillet for 15 min. once both were done i mixed them and simmered for another 15 minutes. didn't look the same but still tasted great and the chicken was tender.
