- 1 box pasta (tri-colored, or ziti, penne)
- 2 cups pasta cooking water (reserved)
- 1 1/2 cups half & half
- 2 cups tomatoes with juice (whole)
- 1/3 cup ricotta cheese
- 3/4 cup onions (small dice)
- 3 large garlic cloves (minced)
- 3 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 roasted red peppers (large, medium dice, I used from a jar and drained it.)
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes (dried)
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- salt
- black pepper
