I only used this recipe as a guide. I did not measure anything except the teaspoon of lemon juice I used to replace the lemon zest I didn't have. I would have used more parmesan cheese then a half cup but I ran out. I will go with a least a overly full cup next time. My wife wasn't keen on the idea of this until I made it. She was over the top about it and wants it again. I added this to penne pasta, grilled chicken and cherry tomatoes that I roasted with balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing. Definitely making this again.

I don’t know why mine came out so bland. I coated pasta with it but had to keep adding Parmesan cheese, black pepper, etc.
