- 2 shallots (you can use 1 medium size onion, chopped)
- 250 grams fresh button mushrooms (cleaned and sliced)
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 250 milk (mililiter, 1 cup; 8.45 fl oz warm)
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley leaves (chooped)
- salt
- pepper
- 250 grams spaghetti (or any other pasta, cooked according to package directions)
- freshly grated Parmesan cheese (to serve.)

Great recipe with just the right amount of garlic! I didn’t have enough milk so I replaced with 3/4 cup heavy cream and 1/4 water, and also added 2 cups red kale into the mix at the same time as the garlic for some added greens. Turned out fantastic!

Very yummy and creamy, but my suggestion would be to use less flour and more milk, with the directions given, the sauce came out very thick and we have to thin it out with extra milk. The flavour was also a little quiet, I suppose you could say, we added extra thyme and some lemon juice to add more flavour
