I added about 2.5x the amount of curry powder, a bit of graham masala, coriander, sumac, & salt. It was good!

Tasty and simple 4 stars because I added a lot more spices - 1 T of curry powder only would be very mild. Also the timing would benefit from avoiding salt until later in the process. I added sweet potatoes with the lentils as suggested in the recipe and they turned into mush. All said - it was a delightful dish to eat, easy clean up and quite nutritious!

One of my favorite go to recipes. Quick and easy to make and so delicious! I like to eat mine with fried sweet plantains.

My whole family were fans, and I'll definitely be making this again! I'm intrigued by the suggestion to add raisins and will definitely be trying that next time. I'm positive my toddler will be thrilled!

Excellent dinner with little effort. I tripled the recipe and used frozen kale rather than fresh spinach, so now I have tasty, nutritious food that's going to fill my freezer and feed me in the coming months.
Will try it with my own spice blend next time rather than using curry powder, but this time I really appreciated the low involvement.

Turned out amazing! I may have had the wrong kind of lentils, as it required quite a bit more simmering time than what was outlined in the recipe. However, it was worth the wait. Served it over basmati rice. I could eat this every day.

This was a simple and tasty recipe. I’ve made this twice; once with carrots and another with sweet potatoes added. So good!

Delightful and simple. Huge hit with my vegetarian brother. We like it spicy so I added some cayenne. Absolutely will be making again.

Delicious! Added raisins and potatoes to this one to really make the flavours pop. I didn’t have spinach but I don’t think it would affect the flavours that much. This curry is the BOMB!

Winner! I doubled the recipe but only added 1 can of coconut milk (I only had one can on hand) and it was still perfect. The kids had second helpings! Will be adding this to the dinner rotation for sure.
