I didn’t measure the Dijon mustard but I’m sure it was more than it called for I made a sauce out of a 1/4c butter, 1/4c flour roux with chicken stock and half and half I added grated Parmesan cheese and it was magical! I’m sure I won’t be able to duplicate it- I didn’t casserole it either, just mixed it all up and served it.

we loved it. i added mushrooms in with the onions and bacon, which took a little longer to crisp up. i would start the bacon first for a few minutes then add the onions and mushrooms next time. would definitely make again.
