This recipe was absolutely amazing. There was the perfect amount of spice to flavor. The only thing I would change is, I would cook the chicken whole and then shred it.
I topped it with tortillas, sour cream and avocados. AMAZING!

Kids wanted 3rd’s. I added more seasoning than what was suggested it made it perfect. I also prepared my chicken breast in the crock pot with fresh garlic, different Mexican seasonings on low for 4-5 hours. This will be a regular fall/winter soup.

I have been looking for a good chicken tortilla soup recipe forever and now I have found one! I made a few modifications, substituted chipotle pepper in adobo for the habanero and used pinto beans with jalapenos instead of red kidney beans. It turned out great, I will definitely be making this again. Thank you!
