Loved it! I used skim milk to cut calories, and mixed in 1 tsp cornstarch to thicken it. Worked great and tasted amazing!

Already shared this with several friends. Quick weeknight dinner and easy to add to. I added spinach once and bacon another time.

I was very curious what I had for dinner tonight. I didn't feel like making the chicken or beef ribs I had thawed. I took noodles and prepared them. While they cooled their jets in the colander, I threw about a half stick of butter, some thyme, oregano and basil from my garden in the butter. Then added maybe a 1/4 cup of half and half and a huge tablespoon of sour cream. I remembered I had a couple small chunks of Romano and Parmesan in the chill chest and grated them finely (about 2 tablespoons of each) and stirred them into the hot liquid until all was well combined and the cheese melted. I added the noodles back in and tossed. In retrospect, I should have added some garlic and onion. Low and behold, I had made an Alfredo sauce. :>)
