- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 3/4 cup full fat cream cheese (at room temperature)
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar (53 g/1 and 7/8 ounces, packed)
- 1 Tbsp. finely grated orange zest
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla (Watkins Baking)
- 1 tsp. almond extract (Watkins)
- 5 large eggs (at room temperature)
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 3 Tbsp. all purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. heavy cream
- 1 tsp. almond extract (J.R. Watkins)
- 6 oz. white chocolate (quality, melted and cooled for 10 minutes)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup frozen cranberries (or fresh, if using frozen do not thaw)
- 1 handful slivered almonds
