I followed the recipe, but added diced turnips, walnuts, sauted onions, garlic and doubled the cheese mixture to make a one dish meal. Next time, I would cook the veggies more, add something to thin the sauce more because it sat on top rather than melting into the veggies. Also needs garlic, paprika and something else...

This is a fantastic side dish. I used 5 strips of bacon and added about 1 tbls paprika. Yummy!
