We serve it for Christmas as a pre-dinner annual appetizer. I may vary the choice of cheese we use depending upon the savoir faire of our guests. We serve it on petite cuts of Italian bread that is briefly toasted to make dipping effortless. Guests look forward to the creamy, warm, slightly spicy flavor to heighten and excite their taste buds to prepare them for a delectable main course.
