- 2 stalks celery (reserve the celery leaves finely diced, about 3/4 cup)
- 1 carrot (diced small, about 1/2 cup)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- celery leaves (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 3 Tbsp. butter (reduced fat)
- 2 cups reduced sodium chicken broth
- 2 cups light cream
- 1/2 cup sherry (can use cooking sherry)
- 3 Tbsp. all purpose flour (depending on how thick you want the soup)
- black pepper (to taste)

This recipe wasn't bad. I made some changes tho. I didn't have sherry so I cooked down white wine. I didn't read about the recipe but ingredients are low sodium and no salt. I added salt a little more flower and twice the garlic. sorry, that's the Italian in me:) I also used more crab than called for since I catch fresh Dungeness regularly. I also added Chanterell mushrooms I picked. After all was done It came out great and would make it again.

Used sherry vinegar & it overpowered the bisque. Also didn’t know what light cream was so used 1/2 n 1/2. Ended up adding more broth. Want to see what it tastes like in 24 hrs.

OMG! This Crab Bisque is Delicious! The Dry Sherry (i used real sherry) really refines the bisque. i think its the best Crab Bisque I've ever made. Restaurant quality recipe 💗🙋🏼😋

Yummy I did add some salt Could be a little thicker so might add more flour next time I made a stock using crab legs and used that instead of the broth will make again
