- 1 cup cilantro (lightly packed, leaves and stems, coarsely torn)
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- 2 cloves garlic (roughly chopped)
- 2 green chiles (roughly chopped, more or less to taste, seed peppers for less heat)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- freshly ground black pepper (lots of)
- 1/2 cup nondairy yogurt (plain unsweetened, or vegan sour cream)
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 red bell peppers (seeds and white pith removed and roughly chopped)
- 4 garlic cloves (roughly chopped)
- 2 red chiles (small, stems removed, more or less to taste, and seed peppers for less heat)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. nigella seeds
