Totally awesome. I would definitely make again. I still didn't think it was hot enough even with 2 tsp of Garlic Chili, so I added some Sirracha and red pepper flakes. It came out great!

I love Bang Bang Smrimp at Bonefish Grill. It's an appetizer there. But easily a main dish using larger shrimp. This recipe is pretty much perfect. Comparing to the restaurant version, I made, or will make next time, a few tweaks. The sauce seemed too sweet to me so next time I will use real mayonnaise instead of Miracle Whip. Also, the sauce is not spicey enough to be "Bang Bang"! Not even close to the original. I added about 1/4 - 1/2 tsp of Frank's Original Hot Sauce (or sriracha). Perfect. Hint: don't drench the fried shrimp in the sauce all at once. Do a little at a time, to your taste. I only used half of it on 12 X-large shrimp. Oh, and I sprinkled with sesame seeds (didn't have green onions).
This dish is definitely a "to taste" recipe. It's super easy and quick.

It is awesome tangy and sweet a little bit of spice since my husband doesn't handle spicy real well. Other than that I will definitely be making this again. Served with Jasmine rice it is a perfect meal. I used Hellmans instead of miracle whip my preference.😍
