- 1 cup cooked chicken (chopped)
- 1 1/2 cups carrots (chopped, 3 medium carrots)
- 1 1/2 cups chopped celery (3 stalks)
- 1/2 cup chopped onion (1 medium)
- 32 oz. chicken broth (cartons of organic free range, or whatever chicken broth you fancy; the lower the sodium the better in my book)
- 2 cups water
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. fresh oregano
- 1 tsp. fresh thyme
- 1 Tbsp. basil (fresh chopped)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley (chopped)
- 2 cups noodles (wide egg noodles are my favorite but use whatever works for you)
- 1/2 cup orzo
- salt
- pepper
