Description
Sometimes we all need a little kick to keep us feeling good! A great way is to drink a wellness shot! There are so many different types and kinds, but if you are looking for one to help treat your cold or flu look no further than the florida staple: Oranges! And once you pair it with some other of our favorites like turmeric, ginger, and carrot you have made a super wellness shot to help fight your common cold. Next time you start getting a runny nose and a cough, try out this recipe to help get rid of those cold and flu symptoms!
Ingredients

- 1 orange
- 1 inch turmeric root
- 2 inches ginger
- 5 carrots

Directions
- Clean and roughly chop the carrots. Peel and roughly chop the turmeric and ginger. Juice the orange.
- Transfer the chopped produce and orange juice to the jar of a blender.
- Blend the mixture on high, adding filtered water if needed to help process, until smooth.
- Strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve or a nut milk bag into a large bowl.
- Pour the strained juice into a glass and serve immediately.
