It was almost there, but bland and too watery (I like stew rather than soup). I will try it again, but noodling over what would make it take more robust.

It tastes great! A lot of steps with the curry in the other pan. I would probably just cook it all first in the pot before putting in the other items. Next time that’s what I’ll try.

Delicious and the great thing is that you can add veggies to your hearts content! Added spinach once and Chinese cabbage another time.

This was the best I used canned lentils.wish I would have added one more can . Flavor was the best.

Not good at all. Instructions suck. It says to cook lentils in water when they mean broth. Didn't give a time frame for cooking the lentils before adding curry. Never says when to add salt. Mine came out bland. Sweet potatoes weren't cooked. Wouldn't make this recipe again.

Made 4 good servings. The only change I made was adding extra salt and crushed red pepper. Served it with jasmine rice!

So delicious and hearty. I decided to use half vegetable stock and half water to cut down on sodium, I also used light coconut milk. Amazing comfort food.

Loved this! Yummy! I used regular lentils because that’s all they had at the store. That worked fine. I added some brown sugar and Cayanne pepper to give it a little more flavor. It was delicious.

It tasted great. i would just suggest that the lentil mix needs a dried ancho chile. that really made it yummy.

My favorite recipe on Yummly! Even my carnivore husband loved it on its own, going back for heaping seconds. The only thing the recipe needs is correcting where it says to use water when it goes on to say vegetable stock. Definitely cook the lentils in stock. Thanks so much for sharing this fabulous meal!

So incredibly delicious and easy !
I was a bit lazy so I just threw everything in together after bringing the lentils to a boil ( i.e. Skipping the toasting of the curry powder in the skillet) & it was still fantastic !

What a amazing dam curry ! I loved it , now I did add brown sugar to make it sweet because I wanted sweet curry, but even when I don't want sweet curry this is beyond perfect ❤️ thank you so much, when winter comes I'll be making more of this dish , I also added cayenne pepper seasoning to make it a little spicy for I can have a sweet hot taste ❤️ this app makes my vegan life so easy

Delicious and easy to make on a weeknight, and the leftovers are going to be great. Nice addition to our vegetarian collection!

Amazingly delicious and relatively easy to prepare. Hardest part was mincing the garlic and ginger root.
I didn't read the directions first and just dumped all ingredients into a big pot and didn't do the stir fry part but it was still delicious
One criticism: the recipe should state 1 cup dried red lentils. I had never cooked red lentils before and though perhaps it meant 1 cup of cooked red lentils. Never dreamed they cook so fast.
