- 3 cups fresh spinach leaves
- 2/3 cup cooked chicken breast (cubed)
- 2/3 cup smoked ham (chopped or cubed cooked)
- 4 oz. medium cheddar cheese (or mild, cubed)
- 2 small tomatoes (sliced or chopped)
- cherry tomatoes (or I use Roma)
- 2 boiled eggs (sliced or chopped)
- 1/2 cup black olives (whole or sliced)
- 1/4 cup onion (thinly sliced or chopped or chopped chives)
- Vidalia onions (Sweet, are excellent, if available.)
- 2 avocados (peeled, cored and cubed*)
- ranch style dressing (prepared Homemade, recipe below)
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
- 1 1/2 tsp. onion flakes (dried minced)
- 1/4 tsp. dried dill weed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 head lettuce
- 1/2 head romaine
- 1 bunch chicory (also called endive)
- 1/2 bunch watercress
- 2 chicken breasts (boiled)
- 6 strips cooked bacon (crisp)
- 2 boiled eggs
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 avocado
- 2 Tbsp. chopped chives
- 1/2 cup roquefort cheese (grated)
- 1 cup French dressing (oil and vinegar type)
