absolutely delicious! Identical to the recipe that used to be on the toll house morsels bag. I live at 6000 feet elevation. I had to add 1/2 cup of water and cook for 15 minutes.

THESE WERE SOOOO GOOD! They tasted delicious! They had a fantastic texture too; soft in the middle, but had a nice crunchy outside, but not too crunchy... just great! I used Hershey's Chipits 70% dark chocolate chunks instead of chips & it worked perfectly! I used salted butter aswell. I also 1/4 the recipe: •1/4 cup butter, sofened •1/4 cup white sugar •1/4 cup packed brown sugar •1/2 a large egg (1 3/4 tbsp of whisked egg) •1/2 tsp vanilla extract •1/4 tsp baking soda •1/2 tsp hot water •1/8 tsp salt •3/4 cups all-purpose flour •1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips/ chunks and I got 12 by using just under a 2 tbsp scoop (exactly 1/4). I will definatly be making these again!

I used oil to replace the butter and applesauce to replace the eggs so mine are vegan, but these are delicious!!! So soft and chewy!!

Delicious! I ran out of semi sweet chocolate & accidentally added about 1/4 dark to complete the 2 cups of chocolate & it still turned out great!

I’ve been looking for a good cookie recipe and after multiple trys, this one DOMINATED the others, best recipe out there, just be ready to put a little muscle into mixing the dough.

The BEST chocolate chip cookies that I have ever made. The texture was soft and chewy, but not too chewy. This is my new go to recipe.

YUM! THese turned out really well. I was scared because of the flour at the end and the mixture seemed really stiff and it was hard to fold in the chocolate chips but once baked... i can't stop eating them wow!
