Great recipe!!! Easy to follow directions. Daughter loved the waffles. Didn't have buttermilk used 2% instead. Came out delicious.

Delicious. I followed the recipe as written. I always do the first time. They were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. That is exactly how they should be. You can taste the vanilla in them. I will be making these again.

Absolutely my go to recipe for waffles. Don’t be afraid to cut the butter in half, down to 2 Tbsp. The taste is lovely and this recipe comes together very quickly.

I really enjoyed these waffles with my cousin’s. I would really love to make this again.

Used buttermilk powder and replaced 3/4 cup of the water with Club soda. The shredded cheese option works! Added crumpled (cooked) bacon heated up in the waffle iron before pouring in the batter, then the cheese on top. Will make them again.

We really enjoyed these easy to make and fluffy. I used gluten free King Arthur mix and they were delicious.

Anytime I have extra buttermilk I make these to freeze for the week. So good! I throw in choc chips too

Super delicious! Nothing compares to homemade. Based on my preferences added 1/2 tablespoon sugar and reduced the baking powder to 1 1/2 teaspoons.

Not much flavor and kinda “eggy” tasting. Was out of my Aunt Jemima mix so figured I’d give it a try. Kids wouldn’t eat. Won’t be making these again .

The waffles turned out a beautiful golden color and were thick. I added a bit more sugar and sifted my flour for a fluffier waffle.

This recipe is very good. I added fresh blueberries, which made them even better. They didn’t get as crisp as I would like, but that may be my waffle iron.
