These turned out great! I regret just a little bit the fact that i didnt put any melted butter over the top. it would have made them perfect! as it is, my family loved them ♡

I made the recipe as is, aside from brushing the tops with butter. I used wheat flour, and the dough came out as expected, unlike what other reviewers say that it was too thin. The biscuits came out soft and flaky, but not croissant-level flaky. I may try adding more butter next time, the amount called for seemed insufficient.

Dough was to soft. Had to add a lot of flour while rolling out. Think 3/4 cup buttermilk or 3 cups flour would work better.

Direct from my hubby's mouth "Best biscuits ever, hands down"! Soft with a nice crisp flaky crust. Definitely my ONLY recipe for biscuits now on.
