- 16 Tbsp. unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh ginger (grated)
- 5 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1/4 cup walnuts (toasted and chopped)
- 8 Tbsp. unsalted butter (4 ounces/1 stick)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup bourbon
